The anticipated audience will be limited to approximately 200 persons who have an interest in health and safety in the construction and allied sectors; and those who are interested in the development of good health and safety
practice.
The aim of the conference is to provide delegates
with detailed information concerning key regulatory
changes affecting construction activities and the impact of those changes on business.
Topics covered shall include occupational health,
environmental issues, asbestos and associated risks and legal requirements.
The day will consist of a variety of focused presentations and workshops where participants will be encouraged to share their own views and experiences.
Speakers will base their presentations on a mixture
of practical experience and application, and technical knowledge or best practice in their individual fields of expertise. |

Surgeries
Hammonds will be running legal surgeries throughout
the day (on SHE, property, construction and planning), starting at 09:30 Delegates can book 10 minute “general assistance”sessions at registration.
IOSH Specialist Groups
Representatives from IOSH Specialist Groups will be on
hand to advise on the advantages of becoming an IOSH member and benefits of joining the Specialist Groups, whose members work together to share best practice and innovation within their own specialists.
