Our Expertise Planning Compulsory Purchase Orders
Compulsory Purchase Orders:   News     Events     Publications     People     Offices     Links     FAQs

Compulsory purchase orders are a particular speciality of the Hammonds' Property & Planning practice. This enviable reputation has been achieved over many years of working with both the public and private sectors on major regeneration schemes all over the country. Unlike many firms, our lawyers for consistency are able to advise on a project from inception, through the order making process and the compulsory purchase to land compensation claims in the Lands Tribunal.

Except in very complicated cases when senior Counsel is required our lawyers will also provide advocacy services which will assist in keeping costs under control.

Compulsory purchase is a specialised field. We have a dedicated team of lawyers who work in this field and who are able to promote orders quickly and efficiently. We adopt a team approach to case preparation to ensure everyone understands the issues.

We are also able to advise clients who are threatened by a CPO on the best course of action to achieve their desired solution with the minimum cost and inconvenience.
