Hammonds' International Projects and Finance Group (IPFG) advises on all aspects of the financing of major infrastructure projects. Our financing experience extends to financing projects in virtually all infrastructure sectors including energy, water, transport, and gas. This advice is provided in the UK, Europe and internationally. Many projects are financed using project finance or some form of limited recourse structure either from the outset or envisaged at some later date. The IPFG can work with any proposed structure to achieve the desired outcome for our clients.
Our network of European offices, our Asian practice and our close affiliations with practices in other jurisdictions where we do not have offices, ensures that the IPFG can deliver top quality project finance advice internationally. In particular, our global network allows our lawyers to assimilate expertise relating to local market knowledge, law, business practices, policy and customs. We specialise in closing projects in innovative ways and in difficult jurisdictions.
Hammonds LLP's lawyers have acted for a number of significant clients, including lenders of all types, developers, sponsors, government bodies, multi-laterals and export credit agencies.
The IPFG provides the focus of this expertise within Hammonds LLP, drawing upon the combined experience and skills of a number of Hammonds LLP's lawyers. The group is further supplemented by experts in other areas of the firm, allowing us to provide a fully comprehensive service to clients in relation to infrastructure projects, covering all relevant aspects of projects and project financing as and when they arise.
