From the North (M6)
Leave the M6 at J6 and follow the right hand lane (signposted Birmingham East and Central) to
join the Aston Expressway - A38 (M). Continue on the A38 (you will pass under an 'end of motorway'
gantry). The A38 becomes a fly over that bears to the right. At the end of the fly over take the
junction to your left marked Jewellery Quarter, and A41. You will pass the Thistle Hotel on your
left and arrive at a roundabout with traffic lights. Go straight across the island following the
signs for Snow Hill railway station. Immediately over the roundabout, take the first exit on your
left, Livery St (one-way street).
From the East (M42)
Leave the M42 at J8 (signposted Birmingham Central, East, North and West), and then join the M6
motorway (north bound). Leave the M6 at J6 and follow directions as 'From the North (M6)'
below.
From the South East (M40)
From the M40 follow the signs for the M42 Eastbound (you need to take the left hand lane). You
will see signs for Solihull, Tamworth. Continue on the M42 and then take the M6 Northbound slip
road. Take J6 of the M6 and follow the signs for A38 Birmingham City centre. You are joining the
Aston Express way.
Continue on the A38, you will pass under an 'end of motorway' gantry. The A38 becomes a fly over

Immediately take the first road on your left - Livery Street. The station car park is a ramp to
your left about half way down Livery Street. This is a pay and display car park, and only takes
cash payments. Expect to pay around £1 per hour. Alternatively, there is on street parking in both
Edmund Street and many other surrounding streets.
From the South West (M5)
From the M5 take J4 for the A38 and follow signs to central Birmingham. Keep to the A38 past all
junctions and turnings. As you near the city centre you will pass a large red building called 'the
Mailbox', continue on the A38 and through a tunnel that bears to the right. Immediately after the
tunnel, take the next junction marked St Chads and St Phillips. At the roundabout, there is a set
of traffic lights. Go completely around the island and back on yourself. You will see signs marked
Snow Hill Railway station. Immediately take the first road on your left - Livery Street continuing
to follow the signs for Snow Hill Railway station. The station car park is a ramp on your left
about half way down Livery Street. This is a pay and display car park, and only takes cash
payments. Expect to pay around £1 per hour.
By Rail
Snow Hill Car Park
If you wish to park at Snow Hill, access to the station car park is a ramp to your left about
half way up Livery Street. This is a pay and display car park and only takes cash payments. Edmund
St (one-way street, no vehicle access from Livery Street) is the second exit on the right on Livery
Street (opposite the station car park). Rutland House is at the junction of Edmund Street and
Church St (Church Street runs parallel to Livery St).
Birmingham New Street station (walking)
- From the platform, follow the signs marked 'Main Exits'. This will take you to the main
station concourse.
- Go through the ticket barrier and up the stairs/escalator straight ahead of you. This will
take you in to The Pallasades shopping centre.
- Turn left at the top of the stairs/escalator.
- Follow the concourse round and turn right to exit the shopping centre (walking past Holland
& Barrett on the left)
- Walk down the pedestrian ramp leaving the shopping centre.
- From the bottom of the ramp (HSBC bank is on your right), walk straight ahead up an incline.
You are now on Corporation St.
- Walk up Corporation St until you reach House of Fraser.
- Turn left up Cherry St along the side of House of Fraser. As you walk up Cherry St the BT
Tower will come in to view beyond the cathedral.
- Cross the cathedral grounds towards the BT Tower.
- Cross the road beyond the cathedral (Colmore Row) and walk down Church Street in the general
direction of the BT Tower.
- Walk past the Hotel du Vin on the right.
- The Hammonds LLP office is opposite the Hotel du Vin on the corner of Church St and Edmund
St.

On street parking is available on Edmund Street and many other surrounding streets. To drive to
the office from Livery Street take the third exit on the right, Barwick St (one-way street). Turn
right at the next junction, Church St (one-way street). Rutland House is at the corner of the next
