Friedrich von Holst 1967-2010
It is with great sadness that Hammonds LLP announces the passing of Friedrich
von Holst.
Friedrich was a very talented and popular senior associate in our Berlin office
and will be greatly missed by his colleagues at the firm.
Friedrich died on Sunday 6 June during a marathon run in Berlin. He is survived
by his family, his wife Claudia, and the three young children Johanna, Vincent and
Lynn.
Hammonds managing partner Peter Crossley said: "We extend our deepest sympathies
to Friedrich's family and friends, and to all of our colleagues in Berlin, for all
of whom this has come as an enormous shock."
Friedrich was a senior associate in the firm's corporate strategy & finance
department in Berlin. He joined the firm in 2005 and is a well-known figure in the
city's legal market, specialising in corporate law, M&A, private equity,
venture capital, capital markets and real estate transactions. Friedrich
contributed substantially to the development and success of the firm in
Germany.
We are doing everything possible to support Friedrich's wife and family through
this very difficult time.
