Jane is a partner in our Corporate Strategy & Finance practice and head of our Manchester office. Her particular expertise covers all aspects of corporate finance generally with particular specialisation in mergers and acquisitions, initial and secondary public offerings, and fund structures (including collective investment schemes). Jane also advises both public and private companies on reorganisations, general corporate structuring issues and corporate governance.

Recent experience includes:

  • Advising GB Group plc on its move to AIM from the London Stock Exchange's main market.
  • Advising Kaplan Inc on its acquisition of Atlanticlink Limited.
  • Advising Findel plc on the sale of Webb Group to Endless.
  • Advising Findel plc on its £81m firm placing, placing and open offer and £365m refinancing.
  • Advising National Oilwell Varco, Inc on its acquisition of Anson Limited.
  • Advising Torotrak plc on a strategic investment by, and licence and exclusivity agreement with, Allison Transmission, Inc.
  • Advising Illinois Tool Works Inc, £1.029bn on its competitive takeover offer for Enodis plc by way of scheme of arrangement.

  • Advising Aramid Entertainment Fund Limited on its $100m fundraising.
  • Advising Findel plc on its £34m acquisition of the business and assets of Kleeneze, iwantoneofthose.com and Kitbag.
  • Advising International Nuclear Solutions plc on the demerger of RTS Innovation from Robotic Technology Systems plc and its admission to AIM with a market cap of £22.8m, and the £39.8m takeover offer by Babcock International Group plc.
  • Advising Co-operative (CWS) Limited on the disposal of 7 department stores to Anglia Regional Co-operative Society Limited
